"Fabulous stay" Stayed at Piper and Powlett with friends and had an amazing time. I can't really fault this lovely and elegant guesthouse at all - it is the jewel in the crown in the heart of historic Piper Street, Kyneton. The beds were super comfortable and the decoration is gorgeous-loved the art and boot room! Cooked up a storm in their beautiful kitchen using local produce from the Farmers Market-which is only a few doors away.... washed down with some Granite Hills Riesling. Went to Annie Smithers and Mr Carsisi for dinner and both were excellent, with the scallops from Annie's being super delicious. Piper and Powlett is truly elegant with style and touch of originality. Just loved our weekend at Piper and Powlett, the place was totally charming. For dinner on our first night, directly opposite was the resturant Annie Smithers, the food was fantastic. My friends and I enjoyed the breakfast provisions supplied at the house. Even spent the morning having a bath with the gorgeous Molton Brown products. All in all it was simply relaxing and made us all feel really special. I would recommend this to anyone. I am making my next booking for our 10th wedding anniversary.
