We stayed three nights at Domino house in Trentham to celebrate my husbands birthday in June. The house was fantastic in a great location and very comfortable. Trentham is very cold during winter so we had envisaged a cosy weekend by the fire. On arrival we were surprised to see only a few logs which didn't even last the first night. It was then up to US to purchase $80 worth of wood from the local petrol station (we were reimbursed only $30 after our stay.)This accommodation was not cheap and is advertised as having a 'wood fire' so supplying enough wood for your guests stay should never be an issue.
I've had the pleasure of staying a 3 of the Flop Houses and each experience was delightful. The bed linen is actually linen. So lush. The accommodation is clean and tidy and well considered. Everything is thought of for you. From lovely shampoo and conditioner, fluffy towels, lamps by the bed, to a delicious hamper full of local produce, perfect for breakfast for 2 days. The decor is modern and simple and you feel cosy and well cared for. I will be back again!
Terrific service with any emails being answered in minutes. I can't speak to the quality of their cabins, but if the products they sell and ship are any indication I'm sure they're amazing.
Beautiful accommodation - couldn't fault it. Gorgeous, old style cottage with a contemporary edge and all we needed for a great weekend in Kyneton. Hosts were excellent. Highly recommended if heading up to this great town just an hour n/w of Melbourne.
