I was towed here by RACV, quotes by Skipdon were comparable to other places,I received great customer service and my car is up and running well, they even washed it for me!I'm happy with this company.Kerry,Castlemaine.
Very disappointed with this service. And shocked to see almost the same story happened to another driver 3 months ago. Completely over quoted, then charged a "diagnostic fee" for a 5 mins job. Terrible customer service and will be reporting to RACV as was not given an option to be towed anywhere else. Avoid at all costs.
Fantastic place
Very disappointed with this mechanic. Got towed here by RACV. Told it was head casket and would cost $8000 to fix. I wasnt very happy with this price got two other quotes $1320 & $1450. Told skipdon about the other quotes and that Id be taking my car elsewhere. The manager Craig said thats good the boys didnt want to do it anyway. Had to pay to hire a trailer and tow my car to a reputable mechanic. Recommend you avoid these guys at all $$costs$$
Skipdon Motors are the RACV roadside assist guys in Kyneton. Stuart organised my van to be towed and secured in their yard then gave me a ride to the train station late on a Sat night. Craig the owner rang, tried to book me a ticket on the train then called back to tell me to buy a Myki card if before getting on. Good guys. Use them
